Job Description
A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Principal Fullstack Software Engineer. This person will help design and implement scalable java based solutions through creating proof of concepts, guiding the team through deployment planning and task assignment (Creating proof of concepts (40%), Architecting (30%), Sprints and Project Planning (30%)). You'll work closely with stakeholders to define technical strategies, lead cloud migration initiatives from Java to platforms like Openshift, AWS, or Azure, and develop/maintain microservices and RESTful API's are delivered. This role is 2 days a week on-site and 3 days remote.

Required Skills & Experience
• 12-15+ years of experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer
• Expert-level Java & Springboot (Version 17.0+)
• Strong Angular experience version 16.0+ (30%+ of their time in full-stack)
○ Knows how to share data between angular components
• Strong architectural experience, including creating proof of concepts, technical diagrams, and solution designs
• Hands on Experience with migrating Java Applications to cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong architectural experience, including creating proof of concepts, technical diagrams, and solution designs
• Ability to lead and delegate tasks, plan deployments, and guide team execution
• Proficiency in RESTful services and Microservice Architecture
• Ability to create agents on Github, Plan out tasks, created MD files
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience upgrading angular versions
