Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Collision Estimator / Appraiser for a reputable, high-end collision repair client. This individual will play a critical role in delivering a best-in-class customer experience by managing the full repair lifecycle—from initial vehicle assessment through final delivery. The ideal candidate will combine technical estimating expertise with strong communication and negotiation skills, working closely with customers and insurance adjusters to ensure accurate, high-quality repairs. This is a relationship-driven position within a premium service environment focused on precision, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Day-to-Day:
• Inspect damaged vehicles and write accurate repair estimates
• Use CCC One / Mitchell systems to document and manage claims
• Communicate with customers throughout the repair process
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters to negotiate approvals and pricing
• Oversee repairs from start to finish (full lifecycle ownership)
• Ensure repairs meet OEM and quality standards
• Assist with parts coordination and documentation uploads
• Collaborate with technicians, shop managers, and internal teams
• 8-10 walk ins

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience writing collision repair estimates
• Hands-on experience with CCC One, Mitchell, or similar estimating software
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Experience working with insurance adjusters and negotiating claims
• Knowledge of collision repair processes and manufacturer standards
• Ability to manage multiple repairs and stakeholders at once
Professional, relationship-driven mindset

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Background in high-end / OEM-focused collision repair environments
• I-CAR, ASE, or related certifications
• Experience in concierge-style or customer experience-focused shops
• Prior experience managing full repair lifecycle (intake → delivery)
Strong sales or consultative approach to customer interactions
