Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Service Technician for a premier classic and vintage automotive restoration shop. This role is ideal for a mechanically gifted technician who thrives on solving complex, old-school automotive problems and takes pride in craftsmanship over speed. The technician will work hands-on with rare and specialty vehicles, performing advanced diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and system-level work that goes far beyond basic maintenance. This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled shop environment where attention to detail, mechanical intuition, and real-world capability matter more than years on a resume.

• Diagnose complex mechanical and system-level issues without modern scan tools
• Engine removal, teardown, rebuilds, and reinstallation
• Transmission and drivetrain work
• Suspension upgrades and steering geometry correction
• Fabricate or modify components when parts do not fit or are unavailable
• Collaborate in daily morning kickoff to review jobs, parts, and priorities
• Maintain careful handling of rare, aged, or historically significant components
•Work fully onsite alongside restoration and service teams
