Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to assist with buildings projects. This person will prepare the respective electrical system design and documentation within CAD/BIM. Projects can span from multi family homes to healthcare facilities with a wide variety of projects to contribute to.

Responsibilities
-Establish system type and parameters with senior management
-Coordinate and prepare calculations to establish systems sizing and equipment selection
-Equipment selections, completion of schedules and coordination of needs with MEP/FP disciplines
-Responsible for completion and correctness of documentation issued
-Coordinate contractor requests for information (RFI)
-Review and approval of shop drawings
-Coordinate preparation of specificatoin with project manager and senior management
-Coordinate space and system needs with architect, coordinate aesthetic desires with architect
-Support Project Manager's project needs for the respective discipline
-Responsible for completeness and correctness of the documentation issued
Responsible for documentation within CAD/REVIT

This role pays between $90-120K depending on years of experience and certifications

Required Skills & Experience

-Min 5 years of experience in the consulting engineering field
-Bachelor's of Science Degree
-E.I.T./PE and or LEED certification highly preferred
-Collaborative attitude and desire to mentor junior engineers
