Job Description
A client of Insight Global’s is seeking a Tableau / BI Analyst to support their Revenue Operations organization as it modernizes its reporting environment and transitions from legacy SSRS/SSIS reporting to Tableau dashboards. This analyst will design and build end‑to‑end BI solutions that transform complex healthcare and revenue cycle data into clear, actionable insights that support business decision‑making. On a day‑to‑day basis, the role involves partnering directly with business stakeholders to understand their workflows, reporting pain points, and underlying questions behind the data. The analyst will translate those needs into thoughtfully designed dashboards, well‑defined metrics, and intuitive visualizations, with a focus on storytelling and usability for non‑technical audiences. This role requires regularly reviewing SQL tables, views, stored procedures, and SSIS packages to understand data flow and metric logic, validate results, and identify data quality or logic issues. The analyst will collaborate closely with database, engineering, and analytics teams to resolve issues and ensure trusted reporting. The Tableau Analyst will own dashboards from concept through production, incorporate stakeholder feedback, provide ongoing user support, and maintain documentation to ensure reporting remains reliable, understandable, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree
2-5 years experience building Tableau dashboards in complex data environments
Strong SQL experience from real production work
Ability to translate data into clear business insight
Experience working with or reviewing SSIS / SSRS or similar ETL reporting tools
Strong stakeholder partnership and communication skills
Demonstrated curiosity and analytical mindset
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Healthcare analytics or revenue cycle experience
SSIS and/or SSRS experience
Advanced Tableau skills
LODs, complex calculated fields, Tableau Prep, Tableau Server, certification
Process improvement, change management, or agile exposure
Experience training or supporting business users on dashboards or BI tools
