Job Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical design and development of high‑speed, high‑precision semiconductor assembly equipment, specifically Die Bonders. This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional engineering teams—including process, mechanical, software, and systems engineering—to define subsystem specifications, design electronic circuits and interconnections, and perform debugging at both module and system levels. The position will also involve system integration of designs developed internally as well as by external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, integrate, and debug electrical systems for industrial semiconductor equipment.
· Work with power, analog, and digital circuitry, including systems utilizing brushless servo motors, stepper motors, and DC motors.
· Design and implement analog circuits incorporating A/D and D/A converters, signal gain and filtering stages, sensor and encoder feedback, and power amplification.
· Develop and debug industrial control systems using motor controllers, I/O controllers, solenoids, switches, and sensors.
· Integrate systems using standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, EtherCAT, I²C, and USB.
· Create and maintain wiring diagrams and electrical interconnections aligned with existing system architectures; modify or develop new architectures to meet evolving design requirements.
· Design cabling and interconnection solutions between electronic modules, including connector selection and cable gauge definition.
· Collaborate effectively with external vendors and contractors on outsourced design and integration activities.
· Work closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
· Develop technically sound and cost‑effective electrical design solutions.
