Job Description

The Senior Analyst – Business Systems is a highly functional, data‑driven role, not a traditional systems or cybersecurity position. This role requires deep understanding of business data, what the data means, and how it is used to drive pricing, cost, and operational decisions. Success in this role comes from learning the business over time—it typically takes a year or more to fully understand how the organization operates and how data supports decision‑making. Candidates with experience in cost, pricing, or price optimization will be especially successful.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, deploy, and support business applications that automate manual processes and reporting for assigned business units
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand functional workflows, data meaning, and business context
Analyze business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities
Design and implement functional solutions that improve data accuracy, visibility, and usability
Develop, debug, release, and support .NET, SQL, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions
Validate, query, and troubleshoot data to ensure it is accurate, timely, and meaningful
Maintain and support SQL Server databases, jobs, and related processes
Provide ad‑hoc and recurring reporting to enable better business decisions
Partner cross‑functionally to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable solution
INTERNAL NOTES!
Understanding what the data represents, not just how it moves
Functional business knowledge over pure technical depth
Data validation, querying, and analysis
Automation of reporting and manual business processes
Pricing, cost, and operational metrics (where applicable)
