Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Production Allocation Process Consultant for a top Oil & Gas client. This consultant will lead a time‑bound engagement focused on assessing, stabilizing, and hardening monthly production allocation and accrual processes across upstream and midstream operations. The ideal candidate brings deep allocation expertise, strong system knowledge (Quorum and FlowCal), and a pragmatic approach to process improvement. This role is consultative in nature — designed to reduce manual effort, improve auditability, and enable informed long‑term resourcing decisions without creating ongoing contractor dependency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Oil & Gas Production Allocation experience
• Strong upstream and midstream allocation expertise
• Hands‑on experience with:
○ Quorum
○ FlowCal
• Strong understanding of:
○ Monthly allocation close processes
○ Accrual logic and volume validation
○ Gas measurement and data quality controls
• Proven ability to:
○ Assess and document complex allocation processes
○ Reduce spreadsheet dependency
○ Identify root‑cause issues across data, systems, and process

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Prior experience leading allocation process stabilization or remediation initiatives
• Experience supporting organizations through allocation process redesign without new system implementation
