Active Directory Engineer

A large healthcare system is seeking an Active Directory Engineer to join their team in Fort Washington, PA. This individual will support a Windows and virtualized environment and play a key role in Active Directory cleanup, policy management, and automation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Active Directory cleanup initiatives, including restructuring and optimization
- Create, maintain, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Perform Active Directory updates, patching, and ongoing maintenance
- Support a Windows-based environment (Windows Server 2022/2025)
- Develop automations by writing PowerShell scripts from scratch
- Work within a virtualized environment (VMware and/or Hyper‑V)

- 5–10 years of hands-on experience as an Active Directory Engineer
- Strong experience creating and managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Proven experience with Active Directory updates and patching
- Advanced PowerShell skills, including writing scripts from scratch
- Experience supporting Windows Server 2022 and/or 2025
