Job Description

Our client is seeking a mid to senior‑level .NET Developer to join their application development team as a flex resource supporting multiple lines of business as needs arise. This role is being added to fill a critical need and is ideal for a highly experienced developer who can quickly contribute with minimal ramp‑up.

This individual will not be assigned to a single long‑term project, but instead will work where support and development expertise is most needed across the organization. The first anticipated initiative includes rewriting and modernizing a web application, along with ongoing efforts to migrate legacy applications to Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑level applications using C#, ASP.NET Core (3.1), ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server.
- Write clean, scalable code from scratch, including development and consumption of Web APIs and shared services.
- Support application modernization efforts, including cloud migration to Azure.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment alongside architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in DevOps workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and ADO/Azure DevOps processes.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical team members.

Compensation:
$45-50/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6+ years of professional .NET development experience.
- Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core 3.1, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and SQL Server (2016 or newer).
- Hands‑on experience working in Azure cloud environments.
- Experience with ADO/Azure DevOps.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver in a senior‑level capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience running SAST scans (e.g., Veracode).
- Adobe AEM Headless CMS experience.
- Payment provider integration experience.
- UI/UX design exposure.
