Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a skilled and motivated PL/SQL Developer to join our Data and Legacy Transformation team in an offshore capacity. In this role, you will be a core contributor to our enterprise Oracle database environment, designing and implementing the stored procedures, functions, and packages that power critical business logic across our organization. You will work closely with technical leads and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient, reliable, and well-documented database code.

Required Skills & Experience
•5–10 years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development within Oracle database environments.
•Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, window functions, and query optimization.
•Demonstrated experience building and maintaining stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers for business logic implementation.
•Experience developing SQL queries and procedures intended to be consumed via APIs (RESTful services, Oracle REST Data Services/ORDS, or similar).
•Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
•Experience with version control systems such as Git for managing database code.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones.
•Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during US Eastern Time business hours.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
•Experience with Oracle APEX or Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
•Familiarity with AWS-hosted Oracle environments or Oracle on cloud infrastructure.
•Exposure to data migration, legacy system transformation, or ETL pipeline development.
•Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
•Familiarity with enterprise data governance, compliance, or audit logging patterns.
