Job Description
Our large pharmaceutical client is seeking a Scientist to join their growing Bioanalytical Discovery & Development Sciences team in Spring House, PA. This group is responsible for developing, validating, and conducting bioanalytical methods related to large molecule biotherapeutic drug development across all therapeutic areas, spanning non-clinical studies to post-market clinical development.
This position is in the Soluble Target Engagement Assay Development group and will be responsible for developing, validating and performing assays to quantify the “free” and “total” levels of soluble targets of biopharmaceutical drugs in various sample matrices from non-clinical and clinical studies. The Scientist will assist with the interpretation of data resulting from analyses of bioanalytical samples, and assess, troubleshoot, develop and validate new assays.
Core Responsibilities:
-Accurately perform immunoassays following well defined guidelines as per their respective SOPs and checklists in a GLP laboratory.
-Clearly and precisely report data and observations from analysis utilizing the various laboratory data computer systems (Watson LIMS/Symyx ELN/Titian eLIMS).
-Maintain current laboratory equipment and operate analytical and other instruments
-Maintain accurate record keeping and experimental data with the use of statistical packages and standard databases
-Communicate results to supervisor in a timely manner

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related field
-2+ years of experience performing soluble target assays or relevant ligand binding assays (MSD/ECLIA) for PK or ADA studies
-Multi-channel pipette experience
-Experience in a regulated GxP environment
