Job Description

Overview:

              Insight Global is searching for a Lease Analyst to support one of our largest oil and gas companies in the western PA area. The Lease Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and accurately entering lease data. This data, including dates, financial terms, and provisions, will be entered into the company’s land management system. This role ensures data integrity across systems so that cross functional groups can review accordingly and payments can be processed correctly. The Lease Analyst will analyze and interpret oil and gas leases, contracts, and related documents, maintaining accuracy and consistency to support uninterrupted business operations. A minimum of around 20 leases should be processed daily, with at least 10 entered accurately each day.



Day to Day:

Review, organize, and maintain company land files and records for completeness and accuracy.

Analyze and interpret lease and contract agreements to ensure proper and timely data entry into the company’s lease management system.

Accurately enter, maintain, and reconcile lease and contract data – including ownership, financial obligations, payments, legal descriptions, and depth restrictions – within the Land System or database.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all land records and reporting.

Maintain a steady and efficient process flow, proactively identifying and addressing issues to prevent delays or bottlenecks in data management and workflow.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ year of experience within Land Administration, Lease Records, Real Estate, etc.

Detail oriented in regards to organizing electronic files and accuracy

Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Ability to work both independently as well as cross functionally

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience within the Oil & Gas Industry

Knowledge of legal terminology and records

Experience within Quorum (Oil & Gas Records software)
