Job Description

The Senior Workflow Consultant serves as a strategic advisor on patient flow best practices, driving process improvement and change management across complex health systems. By assessing current workflows and configuring our clients solutions, they help clients enhance operational efficiency, labor productivity, and patient outcomes.
1. Client Consultation (20%) – Advise health system leaders on patient flow transformation and workflow adoption.
2. Workflow Analysis (20%) – Assess current state, readiness, and manage project deliverables and timelines.
3. Design Facilitation (20%) – Lead workflow design sessions; align training strategies to stakeholder needs.
4. Solution Configuration (15%) – Translate process changes into software build settings.
5. Internal Expertise (15%) – Stay current on solutions and mentor peers; collaborate cross-functionally.
6. Executive Engagement (10%) – Maintain communication with client executives, support post-implementation improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years client-facing experience; strong grasp of client/vendor dynamics.
• 2+ year leading stakeholder engagement across projects.
• Deep understanding of capacity management and patient flow; able to identify and communicate process improvements.
• RTLS or Healthcare technology!
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Proficient in aligning application reporting with client goals.
• High analytical and technical aptitude; solves complex problems with rigor.
• Navigates formal/informal organizational channels effectively.
Travel & Availability:
• Up to 50% travel – domestic and compensated.
• Occasional evening/weekend availability may be needed.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
• 1+ year as a Workflow Consultant.
• 2+ years in clinical, patient placement, or health system operations.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• BS/BA or equivalent in healthcare (clinical, operations, IT).
