Job Description
Join a fast-paced, hands-on team responsible for building thousands of custom cable assemblies that support advanced engineering and machine development. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and proven experience in cable fabrication.
Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, , test and check-out of test equipment.

Required Skills & Experience
•Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly
•Proficient in reading technical drawings and performing wire preparation, crimping, and connector installation.
•Skilled in using hand crimp tools, wire strippers, extraction tools, and soldering equipment.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Capable of lifting items weighing 20–50 pounds occasionally.
•High school diploma or equivalent required
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
•Electro-mechanical assembly experience with high-precision assemblies.
•Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly process documentation
•Experience routing and terminating cables
•Experience with building and installing pneumatics and hydraulics assemblies helpful.
•Ability to use calipers, micrometers, force gauges, torque wrenches and dial indicators.
