Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Telecommunications Laborer to support installation, construction, and maintenance activities for telecom infrastructure projects across the country. This role is travel‑intensive and ideal for candidates who enjoy hands‑on field work, problem‑solving, and working outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with installation, pulling, routing, terminating, and testing of copper and fiber‑optic cabling.
Support the setup of telecom equipment, cable trays, racks, J‑hooks, D‑rings, and pathway systems.
Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, digging, and working at heights.
Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and construction equipment safely.
Maintain clean and organized job sites; support site preparation and tear‑down.
Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations.
Travel nationwide to various project sites (transportation and lodging provided; $60/day per diem).
Work collaboratively with technicians, foremen, and project managers to meet project timelines.
Troubleshoot basic cable or equipment issues under technician supervision.

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in telecommunications, low-voltage, construction, general labor, or cable pulling preferred.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform strenuous physical tasks.
Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions and at heights.
Willingness and availability to travel extensively (multi-week trips).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Cat5/6, fiber installations, or telecom construction.
Familiarity with telecom tools (testers, crimpers, fusion splicers, etc.).
OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, or related certifications.
