Job Description

An industry leading semi-trailer dealership is seeking a Trailer Technician to join their team in Mt. Pleasant, PA. This candidate will be responsible for performing various types of welding, including aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel, using techniques such as TIG, MIG, and arc welding. The technician will handle repairs and modifications on all styles of trailers, including trailer suspensions, heavy-duty brakes, drums, cams, slack adjusters, chambers, air valves, and more. The technician will diagnose issues and make repair recommendations, receive work assignments from supervisors, and attend training seminars as required.

Shifts:
10 hour days Monday-Thursday, or Tuesday-Friday

Heavy duty tools like Welders and Plasma Cutters are provided, however, this candidate will utilize their own Power Tools and Professional Hand tools.

Required Skills & Experience

- Trailer repair experience
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (TIG, MIG, arc)
- Ability to perform repairs and modifications on all styles of trailers
- Knowledge of trailer suspensions and heavy-duty brake systems
- Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and anti-lock brakes (ABS)
- Experience with body work, roof repairs, and fabrication
