Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Technician to help make specialty medications more accessible and affordable. This is an onsite role in Pittsburgh, PA, where you’ll collaborate with specialty care clinics and our internal team to enhance the pharmacy experience for oncology patients. The majority of each day will consist of completing prior authorizations for specialty medications and helping process claims.

Key Responsibilities
Primarily completing end to end prior authorizations for specialty meds and process pharmacy claims
Secure financial assistance for patients
Coordinate medication dispensing, shipping, and labeling
Support patients by answering questions and resolving issues
Serve as a liaison among patients, providers, and pharmacists

Required Skills & Experience

-Specialty clinic experience or knowledge of specialty meds in oncology, autoimmune, and endocrinology
-Full-cycle prior authorization experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Oncology clinic experience
-CPhT certification or Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Pennsylvania
