Job Description
Our Healthcare Insurance Client is looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer for a 1 year contract with possible extensions. This position will be remote work from home. Our client is part of the Engineering organization that builds and supports the companies Flagship Secure Member Portal.
Skill-Set Required for Front End Web
• Typescript - must
• React - must
• Jest/React Testing Library - preferred
• Playwright - preferred
• Redux – preferred
• A11y – preferred
• Micro Frontend - preferred
Skill-Set Required for Backend Server
• 4+ years of professional experience with TypeScript, Node, Docker, AWS
• 6+ years of professional API development experience
• Experience deploying and maintaining services in production serving millions of users
• Experience developing and deploying micro-services
Preferred
• Experience deploying and maintaining services on AWS, specifically ECS & EKS
• Experience in Node & Typescript
• Expertise and an interest in logging and monitoring
• Experience translating large features into software designs
• An open mind about different solutions and a willingness to discuss alternatives
• Strong communication skills
• Experience running projects independently & in a team setting

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
