Insight Global is hiring a Junior Automation Engineer to support a leading organization in the financial services industry. This role is part of a growing agile team focused on enhancing automation capabilities across customer-facing applications. You’ll be joining a team of five automation professionals focused on modernizing testing practices. The team operates within an agile framework and partners closely with development and product teams to ensure robust automation coverage.
Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to sprint-based automation initiatives within a small, collaborative team.
• Develop and maintain Python-based test automation scripts.
• Perform functional and regression testing on web portals that support client self-service, transaction processing, and contract visibility.
• Utilize Selenium for UI automation across multiple applications.
• Update and optimize existing automation scripts to align with evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of experience with Python hands on
- Python scripting
- Automation experience
- Experience with an automation tool such as: Selenium (open to other tools cypree, pitest)
