Job Description

The Senior Data Scientist will lead the strategy, design, and implementation of advanced analytics solutions across AI, ML, and Generative AI (GenAI) domains. This role involves end-to-end ownership of data science initiatives, from ideation to production, and requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and business impact.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data science applications.
• Own the full lifecycle of AI/ML/GenAI projects—from problem definition and experimentation to deployment and monitoring.
• Design and conduct statistical experiments, perform hypothesis testing, and generate actionable insights.
• Build and deploy ML-enabled products using techniques such as classification, clustering, regression, NLP, time series forecasting, and boosting.
• Develop deep learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
• Build and deploy GenAI solutions using LLMs, vector databases, API integrations, and observability tools.
• Implement MLOps and LLMOps practices to automate pipelines and scale enterprise-grade solutions on cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to enhance data infrastructure and ensure scalable data processing.
• Establish and promote best practices in modeling, automation, and solution design.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Drive strategic planning and influence decision-making across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12+ years of experience in Digital, Data, Analytics, or Statistics.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Applied AI/ML and Data Science.
• Proven experience with large, complex datasets and ML product development.
• Expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Proficiency with distributed computing tools (e.g., Azure Databricks, Spark, MySQL).
• Experience with GenAI tools and frameworks, including LLM deployment and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of MLOps/LLMOps practices and cloud-based deployment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing complex systems and driving data-driven change.
• Strong time management and attention to detail in managing data-intensive projects.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience in strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale AI/ML applications and governance.
