Job Description

The Environmental SME will ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, including SWPP, hazardous waste, and site-wide safety oversight.

• Monitor and enforce environmental compliance for all site activities.
• Manage SWPP planning and hazardous waste handling.
• Provide environmental safety oversight and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications
• Minimum 10+ years’ environmental oversight experience on large projects, with deep expertise in simple cycle, combined cycle facilities, and/or reciprocating plants
• Expertise in environmental compliance, hazardous waste, and SWPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan)
• Required: OSHA 30, AED/First Aid certification, valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state EPA requirements.
Nice to have/ what to look out for:
• Must have done site environmental monitoring, SWPPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans), SPCC (Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure).
• Look for OSHA/EPA compliance monitoring backgrounds.
