Job Description

The Civil SME will provide subject matter expertise in dirtwork, foundations, roads, drainage, and structural systems for the AI Data Center project.

• Oversee all civil construction elements, including site prep, grading, drainage, and foundation work.
• Lead QA/QC for structural systems and site improvements.
• Interface with contractors to ensure compliance with civil engineering standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications
• Minimum 10+ years’ civil engineering/construction experience (power plant or heavy industrial projects preferred), with deep expertise in simple cycle, combined cycle facilities, and/or reciprocating plants
• Strong background in site development, earthworks, drainage, and structural concrete.
• Required: OSHA 30, AED/First Aid certification, valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Proven ability to coordinate large-scale site logistics.
Nice to have/ what to look out for:
• Specific experience with earthworks, deep foundations (caissons/piles), structural concrete, and drainage systems.
• DOT or municipal infrastructure experience is a plus.
