Job Description
A Medical Device company in the New Britain PA area is looking for a Quality Engineering Manager. This person will be responsible for leading various projects to continuously improve the company’s products and processes. This person will work closely with department managers and team leads to define improvement goals and measure and analyze process capabilities. Conduct root-cause analysis, implement changes for improvement and monitor ongoing performance. They will perform FMEAs, perform risk mitigation projects, identify and report quality related trends and implement systems to detect trends. They will lead the way with implementing standard quality processes across various departments. He or she will also perform audits and assist teams in resolving corrective action. This person will need to be very driven and a strong communicator, both verbally and written. This person will also be overseeing a team of about 10-15 Quality Engineers, so they must have great mentorship skills, as well.
Compensation Ranges from $90,000- 115,000
Exact Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
2+ years of supervisor or managerial experience
5+ years in quality related role
2 years’ experience leading Kaizen’s
Understanding of ISO 13485
Confident leading internal Auditing Process
Experience interacting directly with customer
Comfortable working on the shop floor and communicating with various manufacturing departments

Medical related background
