This position is for our large software client who sells SaaS software. We are looking for a Cloud Network engineer to join our team and help us deliver high-quality software solutions. As the Cloud engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation tools that support our development and deployment processes. You will also collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems.
Description:
The Cloud Network Engineer will manage, implement and support the Cloud Infrastructure and network. This role involves implementing efficient
engineering and operational processes, as well as establishing best practices to continuously enhance operational efficiency within and across
teams. This role is designed to fill the gap between our senior engineers and junior staff, providing hands-on expertise in cloud networking, performance troubleshooting, and infrastructure support across multiple cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve network performance issues across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Conduct packet capture analysis to troubleshoot connectivity and latency problems
- Manage and configure firewalls, load balancers, and DNS/IP assignments
Support and optimize BGP routing and other network protocols
- Collaborate with senior engineers on escalated issues and mentor junior team members
- Interface with customers to resolve technical issues and ensure network reliability

- 7+ years of experience in a hands-on technical Cloud Networking Engineering enterprise environment
- 4+ years with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- 4+ years supporting TCP/IP and BGP (Border gateway protocol)
- 4+ years with Networking concepts and protocols, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and load balancing
- 3+ years with Terraform, Python and/or Ansible for automation and configuration management
- 3+ years with VPN technologies for connectivity OpenVPN, WireGuard, and/or IPSec
- 2+ years of experience with GitLab or Git for updating code
