We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the Fraud Prevention team with one of our large financial services clients. This team works with data collected around fraud activity within the bank and their clients. They utilize the data to build better monitoring practices, make business decisions, prevent future fraud instances, flag bad data, and improve workflows. The team is currently behind on ETL and need an additional resource to support them in building new pipelines and ETL workflow. 50% of time in this role will be building the ETL process and then the remainder will be other elements that go hand in hand with that including Jira management, moving data through the environment, visualizing data using Power BI, partnering with business stakeholders, cleansing, and transforming data.

At least 3 years experience using Power BI desktop/service, building data models, formulating Dax queries
Data management experience. Writing complex SQL queries
Experience in building or maintaining ETL processes
Clear understanding of production cycle
Ability to document project work effectively through confluence and Jira
Proficiency in Python programming language
Experience with Gitlab, snowflake, Splunk, Tableau preferred
- Previous experience with a fraud prevention team or financial services in general
