One of Insight Global's consulting clients is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to join their project team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions using IBM technologies to meet project requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
Solution Development: Develop and implement high-performance, responsive applications using IBM technologies.
Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues, optimizing application performance.
Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
This person will be onsite 3 days per week in Malvern, PA

- 5+ years of experience within Mainframe Development
-Proficiency in COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and/or CICS, with the ability to provide technical guidance to team members (code reviews)
- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues (managing incident response, performing root cause analysis)
