Job Description:
This is a traveling role. Location: OPW - Ohio, Pennsylvania, Parts of Kentucky (Akron, Pitt, Cleveland, Columbus, Twinsberg, Cincinnati)
Night shift hours.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to software upgrades and troubleshooting at the base of cell towers (Hubs). Installing necessary equipment required for the success of the project. Reporting daily to the operations team.
Responsibilities:
Evaluating needs: Analyze equipment, software, network security, and other areas to identify needs
Recommend changes: Recommend network changes to meet program goals
Installing and troubleshooting, repairing: Install, repair, or upgrade telecommunications equipment and infrastructure within the hub including fiber installations.
Training: Train users on the capabilities and operation of hardware and software
Maintaining systems: Maintain and upgrade existing equipment, and test systems to identify and resolve problems
Documenting: Create and maintain documentation of all incidents and roadblocks.
Keeping inventory: Keep track of equipment inventory, spares, and report to operations.
Maintaining a safe work environment: Follow codes, standards, and legal regulations to maintain a safe work environment
Updating knowledge: Participate in educational opportunities and read technical publications to update job knowledge
