Job Description

Our large pharmaceutical client in Spring House, PA is seeking a Scientist to join their growing team within the Oncology Discovery area specifically within Immuno-Oncology Targeted Therapy. This individual will be joining the drug discovery program to develop cutting-edge therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and will work in an exciting/stimulating environment across the different stages of preclinical drug discovery. Responsibilities include:

-Execute multiple cell biology assays that could include Western blotting, flow cytometry, cell proliferation, cellular cytotoxicity, cell culture, transfection/transduction, immunoprecipitation.
-Design & perform experiments including target validation and assay development in solid tumors, for advancement of programs in the portfolio and new targets.
-Utilize graphing software such as Graph Pad and interpret complex data, rework experiments based on interpretations and propose next steps.
-Summarize and present data to larger team as well as leadership.
-Work in a collaborative environment and demonstrate organization and urgency.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology or related
-3-5+ years of lab-based industry experience
-Cell culture experience (human cell lines)
-Execution of cell biology assays, particularly flow cytometry (5-6 color panels), Western Blot, Cytotoxicity and cell-killing assays
-Incucyte experience
-Drug dilution experience
-T-cell killing experience
-Oncology research background
