Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Director of Business Development to join the Subrogation team of an AM 100 law firm to expand our national footprint across insurers, self-insured entities, TPAs, and affiliated partners. This role will identify and develop strategic relationships and sales opportunities within the insurance ecosystem, showcasing the organization's industry-leading technology, legal insight, and recovery capabilitiesincluding their proprietary software.
The Director will spearhead growth of our client base by targeting decision-makers in claims, legal, and risk management functions, highlighting how the organization can drive recoveries, reduce costs, and streamline subrogation processes through customized solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a comprehensive national business development sales strategy to grow the organization's client base in the insurance and risk management sectors.
Prospect and build trusted relationships with senior leaders at insurance carriers, self-insured entities, TPAs, and related organizations.
Communicate the unique value of the organization's services, including their proprietary platform, total outsource solutions and specialty recovery programs.
Develop customized proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations aligned with prospective client pain points and recovery opportunities.
Leverage data, analytics, and case studies to quantify the organization's impact and ROI for prospects.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and thought leadership.
Track key performance metrics
Collaborate closely with the organization's leadership, legal teams, and recovery analysts to stay current on capabilities and market trends.

This role is remote and can sit in the following States: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Washington, D.C.

Compensation:
$150K to $175K per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefits are provided.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of business development or strategic sales experience in the insurance, legal services (such as subrogation), or property claims management industries.
5+ years in a client-facing role at a professional services or legal support firm (experience with subrogation a significant plus).
History of meeting/exceeding sales quotas and closing mid- to large-scale service contracts.
Experience working with executive teams, claims leadership, and legal departments at companies with $10M$100M+ in revenue.
