As a member of this squad, your primary focus will be on maintaining and supporting our legacy search platforms, which are critical to at least five internal products. Youll spend most of your time working within a large, established codebasefixing bugs, responding to outages, and ensuring the overall stability and reliability of the system. While new feature development is minimal, youll occasionally handle new requests and build small enhancements as needed. This role emphasizes quality and thoughtful problem-solving over speed, requiring a proactive mindset and strong communication skills. Youll collaborate closely with internal users, often engaging via Slack and participating in regular team discussions. Whether you're knocking out tickets (Mid-Level) or digging deep into complex issues and mentoring others (Senior), your contributions will help keep our systems running smoothly and efficiently.

5+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8+, newer versions preferred)
Strong expertise in Spring Boot
Proven experience supporting and maintaining large legacy systems
Excellent communication skills proactive, collaborative, and user-focused
Hands-on experience with at least one search technology: Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Apache Solr
Experience with AWS cloud services
Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments
