A large Healthcare client is looking to hire a DataStage Developer that will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs using IBM's DataStage. This individual will be responsible for combining prior authorizations data with any appeals or grievances tied to it from four different sources into a single, specific file for state reporting and ensure data consistency, accuracy, and completeness during merging. 75% of this individual's time will be dedicated to coding DataStage ETL jobs, optimizing existing jobs for performance and developing new jobs to load data into the data warehouse. The other 25% of this individual's time will be dedicated to collaborating with business analysts, project leaders, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives, deliver high-quality solutions and ensure delivery of the merged files every Tuesday at 5pm. The ideal candidate can hit the ground running, has a strong background in a DataStage environment and has strong communication skills

5+ years of experience in DataStage development and administration.
Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, Ab Initio, or Oracle ETL.
Strong SQL skills and other relevant coding languages.
Ability to optimize existing DataStage jobs for performance and troubleshoot DataStage job failures and provide root cause analysis
Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical team and business stakeholders
Experience with Hadoop is a plus.
