Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients is seeking a SAP Cybersecurity Engineer to join their growing team. This resource will be responsible for ensuring that systems, services, applications, and infrastructure work reliably and securely. The SAP Cybersecurity Engineer is expected to have an understanding of complex IT systems and robust security frameworks, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive security strategies across enterprise SAP systems.

Essential Duties:
- Familiarity with designing and implementing access control mechanisms using SAP GRC tools
- Experience configuring and managing user authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls with SAP environments
- Experience developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and guidelines for SAP applications
- Experience conducting code and configuration reviews from a cybersecurity perspective
- Experience conducting security assessments and vulnerability analyses of SAP systems and related infrastructure
- Experience monitoring and investigating SAP related security incidents
- Stay up to date on the latest security and industry trends including their compliance requirements
- Maintain knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and CIS and other security technology by attending workshops and reviewing publications
- Responsible for overseeing the security controls for the company with minimal oversight
- Responsible for designing and implementing new security technologies with minimal oversight
- With minimal oversight, provide training to other members of the team
- Identify and design new security policies for the organization
- Effectively deal with rapid change in a positive manner
- Assist in process improvements to enhance the efficiency of current operational procedures
- Coordinate relations with and serve as a liaison between business and IT staff
- Assist in developing short-term and long-term department goals which support long-term strategic goals
- Ensure the coordination and communication of production changes
- Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including huddles, department meetings, and other related efforts

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years in a cybersecurity engineer position or similar
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA security configurations and secure RISE with SAP implementations (built from scratch)
- Familiarity with secure Azure cloud server configurations
- Experience with SAP Identity Management and SAP Access Control
- Experience hardening SAP applications
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining security programs surrounding enterprise SAP deployments
- Reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA
