The IT Project Manager for ERP Conversion Projects is responsible for leading and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of ERP system conversion initiatives. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring that the project meets the defined objectives and quality standards. Key responsibilities include defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, developing detailed project plans, and conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments. The IT Project Manager will assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, foster a collaborative team environment, and provide guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. They will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, regularly communicate project status, and manage stakeholder expectations. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the execution of project tasks, monitoring progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards. The IT Project Manager will also develop and implement training programs for end-users, manage change management processes, and conduct post-implementation evaluations to assess project success and prepare comprehensive project documentation.
