One of our financial services clients is looking for a PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join their team. As a PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) and Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be responsible for managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases, including tasks such as performance tuning, indexing, schema management, and ensuring database security and access control. You will work closely with application, DBA, and data warehousing teams to support the integration of a new CRM system (Salesforce) with a PostgreSQL database. This highly collaborative role involves providing recommendations, leadership, and technical expertise to ensure seamless database operations in a cross-functional environment. While SQL Server experience is not required, familiarity with Snowflake DB is essential. You will be expected to work on-site in Philadelphia one day per week (typically Wednesdays), with additional days on-site during the initial onboarding period. Strong communication and teamwork skills are crucial for success in this role.

5+ years of experience as a Database Developer/Administrator, including 2+ years as a PostgreSQL SME
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL DBA tasks such as tuning, indexing, security, access, and schema management.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CREDIT CHECK
Experience in wealth management or financial services is preferred.
SQL Server experience is a plus, but not required (team has SQL Server expertise)
Hands-On Experience using Snowflake Data Cloud
