Job Description

A client of Insight Global's is looking for a remote Sr QA to join their team. The Quality Assurance Analyst is a key role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by executing comprehensive testing strategies. This position requires experience in quality assurance and a understanding of testing methodologies. The Quality Assurance Analyst will play an important role in maintaining and improving software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

Test Planning and Strategy:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
o Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project documentation.
Test Execution:
o Perform functional, regression and smoke testing to identify software defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
o Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools.
Automation Testing:
o Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
o Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automation strategies.
Defect Management:
o Document and track defects, providing detailed information to development teams for resolution.
o Work closely with developers to ensure timely and effective defect resolution.
Collaboration and Communication:
o Collaborate with developers, managers and business stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
o Communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Education:
o A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
o Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst or in a similar role.
o Test Automation experience desired.
Technical Knowledge:
o Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
o Familiarity with Test Automation frameworks a plus
Communication Skills:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Problem Solving:
o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
