Job Description

Perform and oversee loop checks, Signal verification, troubleshooting of instrumentation to ensure proper installation and functionality.
Ensure that instrumentation installation complies with project specifications.
Where applicable organize testing and verification strategy for instrumentation.
Support necessary functional testing of control systems, alarms, and safety systems.
Review P&IDs , Loop Drawings / Wiring Diagrams, Technical Specifications and calibration records (As Applicable).
Execute and document infield verification and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain and organize tracker for identified discrepancies and issues and drive to resolution ensuring minimal impact to project timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in a related technical field, technical trade school or apprenticeship program.
Proven experience (5+ years) in I&C related field preferably in the cGMP Pharmaceutical or equivalent biotechnology industry.
Experience with Large Capital Project Execution
Familiarity with Engineering Drawings.
Strong understanding of Instrumentation systems including pressure, temperature, flow, level, control valves, analyzers etc
Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA systems and associated instrumentation protocols.
