Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking a SQL developer to support the ad-hoc reporting needs of a law firm, primarily leveraging Microsoft's data stack, including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Excel, for creating self-service reports. The individual will handle daily requests for data extraction, develop SQL queries, and work with cubes for advanced reporting. Key responsibilities include managing ticketing requests for data, writing SQL queries, developing reports, and potentially migrating from SSRS to Power BI as the firm transitions to more modern data visualization solutions. Familiarity with SQL and SSRS is essential, but Power BI, and the Elite 3E ERP system is a plus, with additional expertise in SSIS, SSAS, and legal industry experience being highly valuable.
