Overview:
One of the industry leaders within industrial air separation is looking to hire a mechanical engineer to join their design and build team. This individual will be responsible for the purchasing, implementation, and long-term innovation of static and rotating equipment for new air separation facilities. You will work directly with the design and commissioning team to ensure safe construction of machines and making sure every mechanical component is taken care of.
Day to Day:
* Working directly with VP of Engineering while partnering with peer engineers on current and forecasted projects
* Researching industry specific mechanical equipment, working with vendors, getting quotes, and making all purchases
* Process improvement and updates on existing mechanical machinery
* Occasional travel to other plant facilities to make sure commission is going well and training is done properly
* Presenting data and cost-effective measures to stakeholders on new investments
