Job Description

A Fortune 100 client's Aviation Analytics-focused program is looking for highly skilled Data Governance Specialists to join their growing Data Analytics Engineering & Integration team.

This team is tasked with transforming the way the client's data is sourced, managed, and utilized to unlock insights to drive business growth and optimization. The team supports data needs for internal stakeholders, across the defense business programs and functions, and is tasked with utilizing data to inform and improve the full lifecycle of products.
This position requires a resourceful, self-driven, outcome-oriented individual with meticulous attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data governance, data quality management, and data policy development and a track record of developing and implementing comprehensive data governance strategies across complex organizations. This role is critical in ensuring data assets are managed effectively and with integrity, quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience with data governance and data quality management
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, principles and best practices
- Understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (ex: GDPR, CCPA)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience establishing and leveraging data governance technology including Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Atlan, Manta, etc.
- Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA Certified Data Management Professional)
