Insight Global is seeking a SAP EDI Specialist to support a multi-national power management client of ours.
Responsibilities:
* The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Specialist is responsible for analyzing and designing required specifications for new customer set-ups / enhancements and modifications within Eaton's EDI application environments.
* Serving as the primary link between the business and our data-trading partners, the jobholder helps define EDI transactions and business flows, as well as creating mappings and scripts within the Sterling B2B Integrator (SI) environment.
* Working independently, or in conjunction with Functional Analysts on larger B2B projects (who help define priority, scope and customer requirements) the EDI Specialist is responsible for timely delivery and successful outcomes in respect of:
o backlog queue reduction, through assessment and delivery (from AMER, EMEA and APAC regions) of EDI enhancement requests, including new EDI, transactions and modifications to existing set-ups)
o end-to-end EDI testing (with trading partners and ERP developers)
o full project lifecycle (on "fast track" modifications to existing partner set-ups, including the support of user acceptance testing events / schedules)
o implementing transactions in Eaton production ERP environments, including handling of warranty cases and support request routing
