Job Description

Day-to-day:

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Materials Testing and Inspection Manager for a client located their East Division. As the Team Leader, Program Manager and role model, this position requires an excellent attitude and an ability to communicate and effectively collaborate with a very talented bench of internal and external team members/staff. As a CoMET Leader within the East Division, you will have access to piers and seasoned experts to compliment your skills and experience and carry you to the next level of your career.

Pay Range: 130-160k

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

* 10+ years in the construction inspection and testing industry with at least 5 years of project management experience.

* Proven ability to develop and lead a group of construction inspection and testing professionals with varied certifications, specialties, and experience to achieve performance and growth goals.

* Proven success with the operations and logistics of running a team of construction services professionals.

* High level of competency in project management - including management of financial performance, client relationships, and liability control.

* A strong background or interest in business development with a diverse client base including transportation, municipalities, health care, education, and commercial clients.

* In-depth knowledge of inspection and jurisdiction requirements, including understanding of ICC, ACI, AWS, and local jurisdictional requirements.

* Ability to lead, inspire, grow, recruit, and mentor employees to success.

* Experience with oversight of multiple complementary laboratory and field operations.

* Well-developed presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Proficient technical writer/detailed reviewer of data/reports.

* Project procurement experience, including proposal preparation, scoping, and pricing for a competitive edge.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office

* Current driver's license with good driving record.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

* Professional Engineer (PE) registration not required but is preferred.

* Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, construction management, or a construction related field.
