Job Description

The candidate(s) for this position would have excellent attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Conduct telephone interviews on various telephony topics, accurately collect specific information for the Telecom department and complete data entry.

* Managing equipment orders (Ordering equipment, providing local contact tracking info, confirming equipment was received).

* Adding MAC addresses to BRD (spreadsheet).

* Getting equipment replaced that was "dead on arrival".

* Scheduling vendor technicians for any additional cabling that may be determined during activation.

* Number inventory (Checking numbers in TDB and CUCM are valid) (Checking for any Fax POTs lines that should be converted to ATA)

* Coordinate cleanup and shipping of old phones - getting replaced equipment sent back (working with local contacts to make sure equipment is sent back to CXtec)

* Updating telecom database after migration or filling out upload form for to be processed.

* Workflow for AS400 updates?

* Follow up with locations -- scripted questions i.e. training questions, proper operation of hardware and software, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

* Knowledge Of Basic Software - you should have a good knowledge and experience of operating basic computer software programs. This includes MS Word and MS Excel, required to input data to a Telecom database.

* Communication Skills- Verbal and written - you will often be required to interact at all levels, such as members, managers, or customers.

* Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Attention to detail and precision are crucial abilities in the data entry process, concentrate on tasks and deliver accurate results.

* Organizational and Time Management Skills - work planning, scheduling of tasks, completion of work before deadlines.

* Teamwork - Working in a team environment resulting in productivity and effectiveness.
