Insight Global is seeking strong Java Developer to join a team with one of our largest financial services clients here in Pittsburgh. This developer will be supporting the Financial Messaging team alongside an existing team of 5 developers, QA testers, DBA's, and others. This role will include some maintenance on the current applications as well as new development for enhancements and new changes. Other day to day responsibilities will include the following:
* Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions Java technologies, Spring Boot, and adhering to best practices and coding standards.
* Work closely with QA members to conduct automated testing, identify and address defects, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
* Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to the continuous improvement of the development process.
* Perform unit testing using JUnit
