Job Description

Assists in designing the organization's technology architecture and implementing hardware and software infrastructure. In addition to the individual contributor primary responsibilities shown below, may also have managerial responsibilities such as: participates in the recruiting process; instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of architects; prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback. Assists in implementing the organization's technology architecture vision. Monitors the organization's technology architecture to analyze potential needs or improvements. Identifies, implements and monitors best practices for technology architecture by attending industry conferences and reviewing industry analyst publications. Maintains relationships with the company's primary technology vendors. Monitors installations and upgrades to ensure they are completed according to established policies, procedures, and software license agreements. Oversees the development, use, and adherence of best practice documentation and training. N/A. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred..

Required Skills & Experience

1Ability to work autonomously 1A+ certification or equivalent HW repair experience. Replacement of chassis's, power supply's, cache modules, HDD's, RAM, switch modules and replacement of fialed devices within cabinets



2 Previous cabling experience necessary 2Familiarity with the tools that are needed to install or remove equipment from cabinets



3 Ability to effectively give and take instruction by email 3Strong documentation skills and attention to detail are a must
