A large Healthcare Insurance company based out of Philadelphia is looking to hire a Senior Claims Adjuster for one of their Property & Casualty insurance teams. Daily responsibilities will inclusde:
-Handling claims for bodily injury and property damage claims (primary focus property insurance). These claims include but not limited to; auto accidents, premises liability, police professional liability and subrogation. -Promptly investigate assigned claims for coverage, liability assessment, damages evaluation and subrogation/contribution
-Establish and execute appropriate action plans for claim resolution including loss cost management.
-Ensure timely disposition of all claims in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Having an understanding and/or working knowledge of the New Jersey Tort Claim Act ( Title 59) is highly preferred.
REMOTE: MUST LIVE IN DE, PA or NJ (no exceptions) MUST be willing to be onsite 2 days a week upon return to office
HOURS: M-F (8am-4:30pm) flexible

- Must be have own computer/laptop & headset for work from home (remote work)
- 2+ years of experience investigating claims related to property or causality - EXAMPLE: motor vehicle accidents, commercial slip and fall
Experience negotiating claims for resolution
- Working background establishing appropriate loss and expense reserves
Strong understanding of jurisdictional and regulatory requirements
Understanding of New Jersey Tort Claim Act ( Title 59)
Bachelors Degree
