Job Summary:

The Junior Legal Secretary will provide administrative support to our legal team. This role involves preparing and typing legal documents, managing files, scheduling appointments, and ensuring that all court requirements are met in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and is able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. They will be responsible for scheduling depositions for the attorneys, filing, paying bills, opening mail and organizing mail, as well as sending out necessary mail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the preparation of legal documents and contracts.

2. Manage legal correspondence and ensure all legal documents are properly filed.

3. Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage attorneys' calendars.

4. Liaise with clients and legal professionals.

5. Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.

6. Ensure all court requirements are met in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in law, business administration, or a related field is a plus.

2. Previous EA experience, secretary experience, or office admin experience.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
