Job Description

A large financial technology services client is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join their Payments business. You will develop and execute cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and Cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps in support of multiple product lines. You will partner hand in hand with Directors of application development ad Infrastructure to continuously deliver valuable products to customers that are scalable, reliable, and secure. The team builds and maintains multiple software applications that serve a wide array of customers, mainly facilitating payment processing. In this role, you will both aid in ensuring our customers have a secure and scalable experience when interacting with our technology and enable our engineers to deploy code autonomously. You will interact with a wide array of AWS services and supporting infrastructure and CI/CD tooling, but your main focus will be leveraging AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS EKS, ArgoCD, and GitHub actions. This person must be able to go onsite in King of Prussia, PA 4 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8 years of experience with deployments, Infrastructure and automation technologies

- Experience designing disaster recovery and building the infrastructure from the ground up (design and architecture)

- Experience deploying Web applications at scale with Kubernetes (EKS)

- 5 years of AWS experience in a production environment, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS EKS

- Experience managing Infrastructure and Configuration using Terraform

- Ability to design and implement automation and redundancy architectures, for example, CI/CD pipelines, cloud computing architecture patterns, real-time monitoring solutions, etc

- Strong experience on the infrastructure side/networking
