Job Description

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. They are responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training all restaurant staff, including servers and hosts. They also schedule employees to ensure shifts have proper coverage, streamline the restaurant processes to improve the guest experience, monitor restaurant finances and food costs, including sales and expenses, enforce food handling regulations and other guidelines to increase guest safety, promote the restaurant and find ways to bring in more customers, handle customer complaints, and complete necessary paperwork, such as sales, inventory, and staff attendance reports. They will also be responsible for running payroll in ADP. This position will be 40 hours a week working between the two locations in Philly and Cherry Hill, NJ and report into the Owner.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role.

2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

5. Familiarity with catering, food production, coffee, hotel, banquet, assistant manager, or bartending is a plus.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
