Job Description

One of our largest clients in the health data analytics realm is looking for a Medical Writer/Editor with experience in the Life Sciences/Pharma field. This person is responsible for independently monitoring and reviewing updates from the FDA for a subset of drugs (both new drug approvals and updates to existing drugs.) Under the supervision of pharmacist editors, the MWE will identify which updates from the FDA will need to be entered into proprietary content management systems. Drug content will be reviewed and published by pharmacist editors and will be delivered across multiple platforms. These updates could range from dosing, side effects, and drug interactions, to patient education. Your team will consist of other editors as well as 20 pharmacists who will help make sure all info is updated diligently. The role requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate teams working in different time zones, but core hours will be EST.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of professional experience as a Medical Writer/Editor



Experience working in the Life Sciences/Pharma Field -- Specifically with Pediatric Content



Strong understanding of Medical Terminology



Expertise w/ Microsoft Suite -- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.



Great communication skills, Ability to work independently & with a team, Strong Work Ethic

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PharmD



Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
